Sheila Kuck will provide free chair massage therapy sessions at the East Bay Veterans Fair. As a form of alternative healing, Swedish massage therapy will be available to those who attend the event. Sheila spent 20 years in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. She is now pursuing a 2nd career as a massage therapist and was trained in Oakland at the McKinnan Institute of Massage. She now has an office in Concord at Infusions Skin & Body Center. Using Swedish massage as a basis for her work, she integrates different techniques to personalize each massage to the clients needs.

The Blue Star Mom’s will be holding a “Drop Zone” at this years East Bay Veterans Fair. The Mom’s will be collecting items to be sent in care packages to our military deployed overseas. The needed items for the EBVF “Drop Zone” will be Black cotton socks, tuna/chicken creations, and small cans of Pringles. The Blue Star Moms will also be accepting monetary donations to help pay for the cost of shipping for the care packages. For more information, please contact Marilyn Steichen at mlsteich@comcast.net
